Just purchased, my first combat mission title. I come from rts like wargame or arma. Interested whats in store for me.

fwiw, there are a handful of times in this (unbelievably fantastic) mix where some neutral spooky encounter stuff will pivot into IMPERIAL MARCH for just a moment - sometimes sorta quietly, sometimes hugely. I really needed a version where that wouldn't happen, so I downloaded this and made a mix for myself with those moments removed. I only needed forty minutes, so I didn't go past that - there may be more hiding in the last hour. I really want this game to get the love it deserves. It was my first game ever. i was playing it on the xbox360 and i still know that it was a blast. Since then i play it once every year, just to be in that world again. the Scenery is beautiful, the music is beautiful, the game is beautiful. It really makes me sad to see this game fall under the radar and be remembered by only a few. My goal is that if i ever get famous or will get realtively widely known, that i will spread the game around for others to discover because i really love it all that much.

Truly an experience in an MMO i will never have again. The Cantina was therapy when i was a kid and the friends i made were some of the most beautiful people i met.

Nice video, but playing the AI is a waste of time IMO, it's so bad that the games aren't competitive. I would like to see you play against a human opponent.

Very nice interesting Mission interesting to see that* in real time. Thanks 😇. With the Assault Order its best when combined with a target order, so that you actually get the surpression, from the stationary team even when no enemy is identified in the position. You can also make shorter bounds with assault (2x2 tiles instead of 1x4) tileswitch results in the teams beeing stationary for a short time at every intermediate waypoint, risky because they get a bit bunched up, but as soon as they stop, they all fire before the next move cycle starts. So its an easy way to slightly increase the intensity of fire, between movements. Edit: I wrote that before i was at 38:35 Sorry 😅

people are laughing at italian armored vehicles, but then tanks were just rare in that war, and armored pillbox is still armored pillbox

Real time probably only playable with small battles. Larger battles much more difficult to manage unless you pause a lot. You also miss watching the action in different parts of the battle as you can’t replay an event.

when i first played the mission and i saw how open it is, i knew it was trouble, and that ags ambush was awfull

Another well put together video. Your casualties were a bit on the high side. Knowing when, and when not, to have your men hide takes a lot of learning, and a bit of luck. Perhaps if you continue with Fortress Italy you can boost your men's morale with some period music. "Isle of Capri" by Wingy Manone should do the trick.

To learn combined arms, at least in the WW2 setting I recommend the first US campaign in Battle for Normandy.
